Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter Mobile Device Management (MDM) L3 Administrator which involves advanced administration, complex troubleshooting, system integration, and architecture design for an organization's mobile platforms. This role typically handles escalations from L1/L2 support and requires a deep understanding of MDM solutions and mobile OS. To develop and maintain client JAMF / MS Intune environments. As a key technical advisor and mentor, you will guide the MDM team in designing, analyzing, evaluating, configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to support our business and client needs. Must have extensive knowledge of coding, scripts, policies, hardware components, and IP-based technologies. 
 
What you’ll do as the (Mobile Device Management (MDM) L3 Administrator): 
 
  • Advanced Troubleshooting, diagnose and resolve complex incidents and problems escalated from L1 and L2 teams, performing root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future occurrences. 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the MDM platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune, ABM, JAMF, Manage Engine), including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. 
  • Design, implement, and enforce robust security and compliance policies across various devices (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows). 
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of mobile applications, including packaging, testing, deployment (via public or enterprise app stores), and updates. 
  • Integrate the MDM solution with other enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), email systems, and VPN services for seamless and secure access. 
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides (SOPs), ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards. 
  • Use scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks and continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of MDM operations. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams (Security, Network, etc.) and potentially mentor junior (L1/L2) staff. 
  • Act as a point of contact for MDM vendors and engineering teams (like JAMF, Microsoft & Apple) to resolve core product issues. 
What you will bring to the team: 
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least one leading MDM/UEM solution, with solid background in MDM administration and architecture (JAMF & Intune preferred).  
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in Mobile Device Management (JAMF & Intune) and O365 Administration.  
  • OS Knowledge: Strong understanding of iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
  • Cloud Platforms: Good knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.  
  • Troubleshooting: Strong problem‑solving skills with proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to device enrollment, policy enforcement, app distribution, and connectivity.  
  • Scripting: Familiarity with scripting for automation (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.).  
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with end-users, technical teams, and leadership, handle escalations, and set expectations clearly.  
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.  
  • Education: Associate degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  
  • Certifications: JAMF, Intune (MDM/MAM), Microsoft, Informatica MDM, Apple Business Manager (ABM) certifications preferred.
